Genesis 1:26

"Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.'"

what we offer

■ PUPPY TRAINING

The first 6 months your pup is with you in your home is the most crucial time in their lives.

This is when expectations are set.

Rules are enforced.

Bonding starts.

01

■ BASIC OBEDIENCE

Sit, down, stay, and recall.

Those 4 commands are the cornerstone in your and your pups relationship. They are the groundwork for everything to come later in life.

■ Behavioral Modification

Sometimes you fall in love with a dog.

You adopt them.

You bring them home and they bring some very questionable behaviors with them.

Jumping, biting, pushing past you, ignoring you etc.

We will work together to take care of those unwanted behaviors.

■ Advanced Obedience

Now that your dog has shown signs of fully understanding what is asked of him/her. Its time to up the difficulty settings and really grow your capabilities as a trainer and your dogs obedience. Distractions, off-leash, store visits, etc.

Boarding

We currently offer boarding to a small number of clients. Keeping it small means that your dog will have more attention and freedom than anywhere else. This isn’t just any boarding, it’s more like a vacation.

about us

■ OUR STORY

SSRK9 was founded in late 2024 by myself and my soon-to-be wife, the wonderful Michelle Schwarz.

Together, we shared a vision: to help dog owners deepen the bond with their canine companions and unlock their full potential.

Too often, dogs are treated as couch ornaments or backyard fixtures — but they are so much more. Dogs are intelligent, driven, and eager to work with us. They deserve purpose, structure, and guidance.

At SSRK9, we believe that dogs are not only a gift — they are a responsibility. Our mission is to help our clients become the leaders their dogs need and the partners they deserve.

“Thank you. I really got a lot out of working with you.
Taking him off that lead and pushing past the helicopter worry mode was a big deal for me.
Total proof that it sure can be the handler and not the dog!”
